PowderQuest is an Associate member of the Canadian Avalanche Association

The CAA helps to develop and maintain a world class professional operating environment for the most important avalanche safety operations in Canada. Some of their work includes establishing technical standards for avalanche work as well as developing and providing technical training courses for avalanche workers.
They provide support services for important organizations and representation and issue resolution for people involved in avalanche related activities in Canada.
PowderQuest is a Supporter of the Canadian Avalanche Centre
Established in 2004, the CAC was created to serve as Canada's national public avalanche safety organization. The centre coordinates public avalanche safety programming, and more importantly, safety warnings. They organize public avalanche awareness and education as well as training for non-professional winter recreation. They serve as a point of contact for all sectors and encourage ongoing avalanche research.
