The Farellones village gives us access to La Parva, El Colorado, and Valle Nevado with over 25,000 acres of dry Andean powder.

We continue the trip skiing one of the world's top rated resorts; Portillo, plus ski Chile's only Cat skiing operation, Ski Arpa.

After a scenic train ride through central Chile, visit Chillan's market for a taste of the local Indian and rural culture.   Then it's more excellent skiing on the beautiful Chillan Volcano and ski resort, Nevados de Chillan, one of our favorite hidden gems in South America!

Resort Focus: Guided ski trip for Intermediate to Advanced skiers and snowboarders.   A great alternative to traditional ski week packages in South America, we offer you the perfect combo of the best resort skiing in the Andes and optional inbounds off-piste excursions.

Off Piste Focus: For advanced to expert skiers or snowboarders looking for the perfect combo of ski lift serviced off-piste terrain and short hikes taking us beyond the ski area boundaries away from the crowds, plus options to push further out and hike and ride one of Chile's active volcanoes.

Backcountry Touring Focus: A guided adventure for strong advanced or experts looking to combine backcountry touring using alpine ski touring equipment (randonee, telemark, snowshoes, or splitboards) plus expansive off-piste freeriding around the local ski resorts and beyond.

Ends: Santiago

Day 1: Fly into Santiago, Chile, meet your PowderQuest guides, travel to Farellones, hotel check-in, afternoon skiing in La Parva or Colorado, apres ski, dinner.  (Avalanche safety session for Off Piste and Backcountry trips.)

Day 2: Breakfast, full day skiing La Parva, El Colorado, or Valle Nevado, arpes ski, dinner.

Day 3: Breakfast, more great skiing, afternoon road trip to Los Andes, hotel check in , dinner.

Day 4: Breakfast, drive to Portillo, ski Portillo, return to hotel, dinner.

Day 5: Breakfast, cat skiing adventure at El Arpa, return to hotel, dinner.

 
Day 6: Breakfast, train or private vehicle to Chillan through beautiful central Chili,  check in to our lodging, dinner.

Day 7-8: Breakfast, 2 full days of  resort or off piste and backcountry exploring around the vast terrain of Chillan, including several options to hike/tour to the peaks of nearby volcanoes. Dinners.

Day 9: Breakfast, a chance to explore one of Chile's best known craft markets, train return to Santiago and transfer to the airport where you can fly home or stay a few more days in Santiago.
