We continue the trip visiting one of the world's top rated resorts; Portillo, plus ski Chile's only Cat skiing operation, Ski Arpa. Recently hailed as one of the best ski experience on the planet by Ski Magazine.

After a scenic road journey through central Chile, visit Chillan's market for a taste of the local Indian and rural culture. Then it's more excellent skiing on the beautiful Chillan Volcano and ski resort, Nevados de Chillan, one of our favorite gems in South America!

Quick Tour Itinerary

Starts: Santiago, Chile
Ends: Santiago

Day 1: Fly into Santiago, Chile, meet your PowderQuest guides, travel to Farellones, hotel check-in, afternoon skiing in Colorado, Avalanche safety session, apres ski, dinner.

Day 2: Breakfast, full day skiing La Parva, El Colorado, or Valle Nevado, apres ski, dinner.

Day 3: Breakfast, more great skiing, afternoon road trip to Los Andes, hotel check in, dinner.

Day 4: Breakfast, drive to Portillo, ski Portillo, return to hotel, dinner.

Day 5: Breakfast, snowcat skiing adventure at El Arpa, return to hotel, dinner.

Day 6: Breakfast, train or private vehicle to Chillan through beautiful central Chili, check in to our lodging, dinner.

Day 7-8: Breakfast, 2 full days of off piste and backcountry exploring around the vast terrain of Chillan, including several options to hike/tour to the peaks of nearby volcanoes, soak in thermal springs, repeat!

Day 9: Breakfast, a chance to explore one of Chile's best known craft markets, return to Santiago and transfer to the airport where you can fly home or stay a few more days in Santiago.

Arrival-Departure Flight Schedule

Please schedule your flight to arrive on Day 1 no later than 9:00 AM. The group will meet the guides at the airport at 10:00 AM and depart to the mountains. If you cannot arrive by 9, we suggest flying in the previous day. We can arrange hotel and ground transfers.

The trip ends in day 9 upon our arrival in Santiago. You can book your returning flight anytime after 6:00 PM. Most flights leave in the evenings. Our agents would be happy to arrange an extended stay. Santiago offers wine tours, coast trips, bike touring, cultural tours, and more. Contact us for more details.

A 30% deposit is required at time of reservation. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, PayPal, bank wires. Checks are accepted from USA bank accounts.

Note: Single travelers as well as small groups of 2-8 guests are welcome! We do everything in our power to run all advertised trips, however we require a minimum of 5 guests to sign up in order to operate.
