Valle Nevado, Chile has 3 main hotels and is famous for powder skiing, snowboarding, and phenomenal views of the surrounding Andes Mountain Range.

The ski resort offers you a modern ski lift system including a new gondola for 2012, great snow conditions to explore the groomed slopes, bowls, and backcountry under the shadows of the Andean Condor frequently seen soaring above.

In Valle Nevado, you can ski and snowboard as high as 3,670 meters (12,040 feet) above sea level.
If you want the chance to fly,  the resort offers heliskiing on the nearby peaks, accessed right outside the doors of it's comfortable ski-in, ski-out lodgings.

Valle Nevado is fully set up for freestyle and freeriding with it’s snow park, boardercross training area, and epic backcountry. Dakine and Smith Optics have shot their catalogs with PowderQuest here, and for several years, was the only Latin American site to host the FIS Snowboard World Cup.
