Corralco ski resort, is our base for our attempt to ski tour the southern face of beautiful Volcano Lonquimay.
The rewarding randonee climb takes approximately 3-4 hours from Corralco base, and offers views that may rival those from Villarrica Volcano further south in the Andes.
You can see 7 nearby volcanoes, and a distant view into neighboring Argentina.
The Northeast face of Corralco, Lonquimay offers constant skiing of 35-45 degrees, on classic snow covered volcanic terrain and can be skied well into November.
