Located near the town of San Martin de Los Andes and above Lacar Lake in National Park Lanin in the gorgeous Lake District of Argentina, Chapelco hosts one of the best local ski and snowboard scenes in South America.
Chapelco's high-speed quad, gondola, and access into the steep backcountry bowls make for unforgettable days in the Southern Andes.
New ownership for 2007 installed several new services including a new chairlift that increases speed from the base to mid mountain, and future expansion looks to push deeper into the back bowl creating more expert lift accessed terrain.
