What to Expect Tomorrow in Chapelco Argentina for Opening Day
It looks like Cerro Chapelco’s social media campaign for fans to send in videos of them doing snow dances worked. While this recent storm has set up quite a good base above 1,600 meters (5,200 feet), the lower mountain still needs more snow. Thankfully forecasts are showing more snow tomorrow and then again this coming weekend.
Three lifts are planing on opening at 10:00 AM to start the day; Telecabina, Silla 63, and Silla Graef all accessing terrain above 1,600 meters. Starting Thursday, July 14, the resort will operate normal hours from 9 to 5.
